- Help Mybbs
- ----------
-
- By using this command you can inform THE BOX of your "local PBBS".
- This is the PBBS which you use most often. Once your local PBBS is
- stored by using this command, all your messages will automatically be
- sent to the call sign you entered.
-
- Example:
-
- M : you will be asked for the call of your local PBBS which will
- then be stored
- M ON5PL : the call sign ON5PL will immediately be stored as your local
- PBBS
-
- Now, if messages are saved for you, they wil automatically be added to
- the S&F-list and later forwarded to your "home PBBS". This will only
- work if the call sign you entered is a PBBS that supports S&F with the
- WA7MBL protocol. The following example might demonstrate the advantage
- of the MYBBS command: OM John lives in Bristol, his local PBBS is
- GB3XY. From time to time, he also logs onto the GB3YZ PBBS, where he
- set "MYBBS GB3XY". If both PBBS's support S&F, OM John will always
- be able to read his mail in his local PBBS GB3XY, even if it was sent
- to GB3YZ without a S&F-identifier. Of course, he will also be able to
- read his mail from GB3YZ, if he wants.
-
- If you haven't set MYBBS, you will be asked to do so whenever you
- login. Therefore, you should also set MYBBS if this PBBS is the one
- you log onto most often.
